1. My Computer does not recognize the POCKETEC drive
2. I cannot safely remove the POCKETEC drive
3. When the POCKETEC drive is connected, my computer freezes or becomes very slow.
4. When I try to copy large files, it says there is not enough space.
5. I cannot format my hard drive.

1. Make sure no programs or applications are accessing the drive. You may want to close all your programs and applications.
2. Disable your anti-virus “autoscan” function.
3. Refresh your desktop (Right-click on the desktop and select refresh)
4. If you deleted items from the POCKETEC drive, make sure to empty the Recycle Bin on your desktop.

If you are still having trouble safely removing the drive, there are likely some disk errors on the drive. Please do following to repair them:

1. Open My Computer
2. Right-click on the DataStor icon
3. Select Properties
4. Select the Tools tab
5. Select the Check Now button
6. Check both options
7. Select start
