Welcome to the Windows 98SE trouble shooting section.
Please select the most relative issue to your problem.
1. My Computer does
not recognize the POCKETEC drive
2. I cannot safely
remove the POCKETEC drive
3. When the POCKETEC
drive is connected, my computer freezes

If you are having trouble using the safe removal please
check the following:
- Make sure no programs or applications are accessing
the drive. You may want to close all your programs
and applications.
- Disable your anti-virus “autoscan”
function.
- Refresh your desktop (Right-click on the desktop
and select refresh)
- If you deleted items from the POCKETEC drive, make
sure to empty the Recycle Bin on your desktop.
If you are still having trouble safely removing the
drive, there are likely some disk errors on the drive.
Please do following to repair them:
- Open My Computer
- Right-click on the DataStor icon
- Select Properties
- Select the Tools tab
- Select the SCAN DISK button
- Check the Thorough Scan
- Run the scan disk
After the scan disk is finished, you should not have
any more problems. If you do, click
